绵阳市安县桑枣镇中位于县城西面约20公里处，与茶坪接壤。学校建筑面积8474平方米，在校学生645人，教职工50人。在“5.12”汶川特大地震灾害中，学校损失特别惨重，学生死亡1人，重伤2人，轻伤2人，地震还致使8474平方米房屋无法使用，造成直接经济损失460万余元。“天灾无情人有情，华夏儿女共一心”，相信在社会各界的大力支持下，桑枣镇中尽快进行灾后重建，还孩子们一个温馨的课堂。
